Home Away From Home Animal Rescue, Florence's Premiere No Kill Rescue
Welcome to the Home Away From Home Animal Rescue Site!

Happy Holidays from All of us, to you!

OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to rescue and shelter cats and dogs from the Florence County Pound and also from off the streets in the Florence area.  We provide food, shelter, and medical care for the animals until they are either returned to their original owners or they are adopted into new and loving homes. Please help us make room in our kennel for another homeless pet by adopting from us. We know we can't save them all, but we can save some of them. With your help we can save even more. All of our animals over six months old are spayed/ neutered. Any animal in our care is up to date with routine shots.

Since we are a not for profit organization, any donations you make are tax deductible.  We appreciate all of your donations, be they of your time, money, supplies, energy, or adopting a new pet into your family. If you have any services to offer, would like to volunteer, or become a sponsor, please visit here.

Be sure to look around on the site for success stories and other little comments from new homes!

Chris was adopted, and his new parents sent us this: "We love him to death! He is so sweet, we can't figure out why someone gave him up.  I've been telling everyone to come to you if they lose a beloved pet."
